The Dietary Law

The Dietary Law

The other day a sister brought a relatively nice automobile and before leaving the dealership she asked the sales rep. what kind of fuel goes in the car. The sales rep. emphasized ‘unleaded gas only’. The following week the sister stopped to refuel her nice automobile and decided to put diesel fuel in the car, contrary to the instructions given her. The car broke down and she angrily returned to the dealer complaining about the vehicle she purchased and was then embarrassed because she didn’t follow the instructions given to her.

In the news sometime ago there was also a couple that ignored the doctor’s instructions about breast feeding their newborn baby with the mothers’ milk or ‘a baby milk formula’. They decided their new born baby would have a strict ‘vegan’ diet, void of the mothers milk, the baby was malnourished and almost died and the parents were arrested for child abuse and neglect.

Today many of us suffer from sickness and disease according to Deuteronomy 28:61
“Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law,
them will the Lord bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.”

Some sickness and disease are directly related to the foods we eat, such as heart disease, high blood pressure, gout, cancers etc.

After creation the Most High gave man and beast an herbal dietary law
In Genesis 1:29 “And God said, behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth and every tree, in the which is a the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.” V.30 “And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.”

Prior to the flood that destroyed the earth the Most High commanded Noah to build an ark to protect his family and clean and unclean animals which Noah understood.
Genesis 7:2 “Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.”

After the flood, the Most High added meat to mans diet, and remember Noah
understood the difference between the clean and unclean.
Genesis 9:3 “Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.” V.4 “But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.” Proving Noah also understood the blood had to be drained from the unclean animal as in Leviticus 17:13 “ And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.”

Leviticus 11:46 “This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth:
V.47 “To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.”
Leviticus 11:29 “These also shall be unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,
Verse 30 “And the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole.”

Deuteronomy 14:3 “Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing.
Verse 4 These are the beasts which ye shall eat: the ox, the sheep, and the goat,
Verse 5 The hart(red deer), and the roebuck (gazelle), and the fallow deer, and the
wild goat, and the pygarg (ibex), and the wild ox, and the chamois.

Verse 6 And every beast that parteth the hoof, and cleaveth the cleft into two claws, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that ye shall eat.

Verse 7Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them
that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare (rabbit), and the
coney(hedgehog): for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto you.
Verse 8 And the swine (pig), because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.
Verse 9 These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat:
Verse 10
And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.

Verse 11 Of all clean birds ye shall eat.
Verse 12 But these are they of which ye shall not eat: (hunters/scavengers) the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the osprey,
Verse 13 And the glede, and the kite, and the vulture after his kind,
Verse 14 And every raven after his kind,
Verse 15 And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckoo, and the hawk after his
kind,
Verse 16 The little owl, and the great owl, and the swan,
Verse 17 And the pelican, and the gier eagle, and the cor
morant,
verse18 And the stork, and the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.
Verse 19 And every creeping thing that flieth is unclean unto you: they shall not be
eaten.
Verse 20 But of all clean fowls ye may eat.”

Remember what Christ said in Matthew 5:17 “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.”

Christ fulfilled what the prophets said concerning his coming which included the Levitical priesthood and their laws of sacrifice. Read Luke 24:44 and Hebrews 7.
Matthew 5:18 “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”

Now that we understand Christ did not destroy (change) anything the prophets said
here is a prophecy against eating unclean food.
Isaiah 66:15 “For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a
whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
Verse 16 For by fire and by his sword will the Lord plead with all flesh: and the slain of the Lord shall be many.

Verse 17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the
mouse
, shall be consumed together, saith the Lord.”

Today many deceivers claim that the dietary laws are done away to justify their
scorning of the law. However prophecies prove the Lord will destroy those breaking
the dietary law.
1 Timothy 4:1 “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; (the
latter times are the last days, some Israelites shall depart from Christ and the
commandments, following false pastors and man made religions)
 Verse 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

(a hypocrite talks about the bible but does not obey the bible. He or she claims they believe the Holy Scriptures but only appear to obey the parts they like)
Verse 3 Forbidding to marry (catholic priest’s cannot have wives neither can Nuns
have husbands), and commanding to abstain from meats (on Fridays Catholics are
forbidden to eat meat only fish) , which God hath created to be received with
thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
(The key to understanding this verse one must know what the truth is according to
the scriptures. Psalms 119:142 “Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness,
and thy law is the truth.” Therefore it reads as follows ‘and commanding to abstain
from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which
believe and know the LAW!”)
Verse 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
(For every creature of God is good according to the Law and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving)Verse 5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and
prayer.”
Sanctified means to be made clean, the creatures made clean in the word of God are found in Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14 and add pray for it.
Deceivers also attempt to twist Mark 7:15 to justify eating pork and other unclean
foods.

Mark 7:15 “There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.”

Some foolishly believe Christ is teaching against the law, that it’s okay to eat Pork however verse 5 proves Christ is teaching that eating breads with dirty unwashed hands can not defile you.
Mark 7:5 “Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?”

False teachers also use Acts 10, the history of Cornelius to justify eating pork and other unclean foods.
Acts 10:11 “And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
Verse 12 Wherein were all manner of four footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
Verse 13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
Verse 14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is
common or unclean
.”

The Prophets Moses and Hosea explains what this vessel from the four corners with all manner of beasts, creeping things and fowls are;

Deuteronomy 32:26 “I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men:”
Hosea 8:8 “Israel is swallowed up: now shall they be among the Gentiles as a vessel wherein is no pleasure.”

These prophecies prove that many Israelites went into captivity scattered into the four corners and were forgotten. They were among the gentiles as a vessel with unclean things that no one has pleasure in.

Now let’s examine the rest of Acts 10 to see if that vision meant we can eat pork and other unclean foods.

Acts 10:28 “And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.”

Proving the vision was about MEN not foods.
1 John 5:3 “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.”
