Israel United in Christ is involved in various community outreach initiatives. This is to reach our disadvantaged brothers and sisters within impoverished communities lacking the biblical knowledge and the tools needed to elevate their communities. Through national and global efforts, congregational services are extended to lead them back to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are devoted to bringing truth and offering solutions for the Black, Hispanic and Native American people.
Community Service
The focus of the Community Clean-Up initiative is working through group efforts within our respective schools to clean up various neighborhoods that need environmental maintenance. We organize to clean up the communities by picking up trash and recycling responsibly. Our way to support and engage with the public is by presenting the truth of the word of God to the people and addressing productive ways to create sustainable communities. Improving a neighborhood’s quality of life instills a sense of pride in where we live which can elevate the mind and spirit. We hope this eco-friendly initiative will inspire our neighbors to mobilize in maintaining cleaner living conditions for themselves.
Hebrews 10:
- v24- And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.
Cuts from the Street
IUIC film crews interview community members on a one-on-one basis on pertinent topics such as the true image of Christ, Christianity, pagan holidays, black history, incarceration, voting, and more. A Q&A platform is presented for them to discuss their perspective while we provide informative biblical content pertaining to said topics. It is our duty to inform them about worldly traditions, practices, and beliefs that the media pushes heavily. Our mission is to continue connecting with the public through local events, IUIC events and community service efforts.
Flyer Missions
IUIC men put boots on the ground. They hand out fliers that highlight the hidden truth about Christ, the biblical breakdown of slavery in Deuteronomy 28:15-68 and how the oppression of the Black, Hispanic and Native Americans worldwide is bible prophecy.
Jail and Prison Outreach
Today, many of our people find themselves behind bars entangled within the prison system. Some are imprisoned from a one-time mistake while others for a life of crime. Our men and women are disproportionately locked up despite only making up 32%( Blacks, Hispanics and Native Americans) of the population in the United States. Many blame society for their decayed condition and although it is a relevant claim, the fact of the matter is, these are prophetic curses our people suffer from. We are committed to reaching out to those who endure this reality by enlightening them with the Word of God and to demonstrate biblically how disobedience to the Lord’s commandments is the cause of their condition.
Proverbs 1:
- v22- How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
The Lord calls us simple and asks our people a question in Proverbs 1:22. How long will we love simplicity (stupidity)? He then says that we are a scornful people and are fools that hate the knowledge of God’s laws.
Romans 13:
- v1- Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
- v2- Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
All governments are set up by God, therefore, any person who resists the authority of the government they live under, resists the laws of God. Remember, we went into slavery as a people because we were disobedient to the laws of the Most High. Now in Christ, we must learn to obey the laws of the land, those which do not contradict God’s laws. In efforts to reach those enduring the prison system, IUIC established the Prison Outreach Initiative Program which provides faith-based informational correspondence to detention centers, jails, etc. We do not want anyone, regardless of their circumstances, to be neglected of learning the true gospel and finding the Lord Jesus Christ. Our aim is to inspire our people who are locked up to repent from their sins, spiritually renew themselves, and turn their lives around with the truth which may lead to their salvation.
